Terms and conditions

1. Who we are

These terms apply between you and Crystal Ski Rental s.r.o., Demänovská dolina 72, 031 01 Liptovský Mikuláš, Slovakia ("we", "us"), company number 00 000 000, registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court Žilina.

You can reach us at hello@crystalskirental.test or at any of our stores.

2. Your account

To book skis you need an account. Give us your real name and an e-mail address you read, and keep your password to yourself.

You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account. Parents and guardians book for children.

We may suspend an account that is used to make bookings that are never picked up, or to harm other customers or our staff.

3. Booking

A booking is made when you confirm it on the reservation page and we show you its reservation code. It holds the skis you chose, at one store, for the dates you chose.

You pick the skis up at the store on the first day of the rental and return them by closing time on the last day. Neither day may fall on a day the store is closed. A store may keep shorter hours on public holidays; we tell you when you book.

When you pick up, you sign the rental agreement for the skis you take. The version you accepted when booking is kept with the booking.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are per pair per day, in euros, including VAT. Rentals of four days or more are discounted by length, as shown before you book.

The price you see when you book is the price you pay, even if our prices change later. You pay at the store when you pick the skis up.

5. Cancellations and no-shows

You can cancel a booking free of charge on "My reservations" until the day before the rental starts.

If you do not pick the skis up, the store may cancel the booking as a no-show and offer the skis to other customers.

6. Ratings

After a rental you can rate the rental and the skis. Scores are shown to other customers as averages; notes and comments are read only by our staff.

Keep them honest and polite. We may remove comments that are offensive or unrelated to the rental.

7. Liability

Skiing carries risks. We keep our equipment in good condition and set bindings for the details you give us, but we are not liable for injuries caused by the way you ski, by conditions on the slopes, or by details you gave us that were not correct.

Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer under Slovak and EU law.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in. Bookings you already made keep the terms that applied when you made them.

9. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Slovak law. If we cannot resolve a complaint together, you can turn to the Slovak Trade Inspection (SOI) for alternative dispute resolution, or to the courts of Slovakia.
